Sterling Playmakers is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for three of our productions scheduled for 2021. For consideration, please complete the Director’s Application and mail it or email it to the address on the application by June 15, 2020!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Tentative Show Dates: February 26-28 & March 5-7, 2021

Anticipated Location: Seneca Ridge Middle School

Multiple versions - please specific which version of the script you intend to use

Alice in Wonderland (multiple versions available) tells of a young girl named Alice falling through a rabbit hole into a subterranean fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children.

THE UNEXPECTED GUEST
Tentative Show Dates: October 15-17 & October 22-24, 2021

Anticipated Location: Sterling Middle School

The Unexpected Guest (Agatha Christie)- When a stranger runs his car into a ditch in dense fog in South Wales and makes his way to an isolated house, he discovers a woman standing over the dead body of her wheelchair-bound husband, gun in her hand. She admits to murder, and the unexpected guest offers to help her concoct a cover story.

JOSEPH AND THE AMZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
Tentative Show Dates: November 12-14 & November 19-21, 2021

Anticipated Location: Seneca Ridge Middle School

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber) is told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.
