A Message About COVID-19
Sterling Playmakers is dedicated to serving Sterling and the surrounding community through our participation in theatre arts. Given the ongoing concerns about COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and with guidance from county, state, and Federal authorities, we would like to share our current plans for upcoming performances and activities.
Due to the closure of Loudoun County Public Schools, and to ensure the safety of our patrons, we have cancelled our final three performances of Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic this weekend. Our box office will be contacting patrons who ordered tickets online to provide a full refund, or you can contact the box office to request a refund or defer your refund as a donation to the organization. Sterling Playmakers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations will receive a letter in acknowledgement and donations over $20 will qualify you for a listing in our Donors section of the program for our summer musical, Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
At this time, a final decision is pending regarding whether we will reschedule auditions for The Laramie Project. An announcement will be made no later than Tuesday, March 17, 2020. On That Note, our traveling cabaret, will also be pausing performances for the next 30 days. We will update the community when we resume activity.
On behalf of the cast and crew of Puffs and our Board of Directors, we sincerely thank you for your support and understanding, and hope to see you in June for The Laramie Project and in July and August for Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
